The International Music Academy for Soloists – IMAS – was founded in 1978 by renowned professors from the The University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover, together with dedicated and musically ambitious personalities from Niedersachsen - the aim being to support highly gifted young soloists on their way to an international career by means of advanced master classes.

Since then, IMAS has offered young musicians from all over the world the best possible conditions to further develop and perfect their artistic potential over nine days of highly advanced individual tuition from globally renowned and experienced teachers at Schloss Bückeburg.

Over many years of lasting success – evident in the careers of formers participants –IMAS has gained an excellent reputation worldwide.

With your membership, you will contribute to further support the high standards of IMAS.

IMAS members can secure their tickets for the festive final concert early on and in an area especially reserved for them and they can sit in on all master classes free of charge.
