General Information

Course Details

Active participation comprises 210 minutes of teaching (270 minutes for chamber music). There are usually internal class concerts in the evenings. Sitting in on classes with all three teachers of the Autumn Academy is included. For selected participants, there is the opportunity to perform at the final concert on September 15th 2024.

All applications will be assessed by the teachers after the registration deadline. Based upon their decision, the active participants will be selected. All applicants will be notified immediately.

Attendance Fee

For solo categories:

The fee for active participation is 300 Euro.

For Piano Chamber Music: 

The fee for duet is 500 Euro (250 Euro per person).

The fee for trio is 600 Euro (200 Euro per person).

The fee is to be transferred 7 days after the positive admittance to the masterclass at the latest on the following account:

Accomodation

Upon request, accomodation with a host familiy is available. It is neccessary to specify this on the form. A fee of 50 Euros (for piano chamber music: 50 Euros per ensemble member) is charged and should be transferred together with the attendance fee.

• 300 Euro attendance fee
• + 50 Euro accomodation fee
• = 350 Euro total fee

Practice Space

For the duration of the course, practice rooms are available at the Bückeburg music school. Some host families are able to offer instruments (pianos and grand pianos). Practice is gerenally welcome in the host families, but should be arranged with consideration to them.

Accompanists

The masterclasses for voice and viola are accompanied by professional accompanists. Early arrangement of the repertoire is strongly advised.

Certificate of Participation

Participants are given a certificate of participation at the end of the Autumn Academy on request.
